Lance Garrison
A LITTLE ABOUT LANCE
Dr. Lance Garrison, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and the Campus Dean for the Dallas Campus of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology where he led the launch of the campus in 2018. Dr. Garrison is a seasoned higher education administrator and clinical psychologist with over 17 years of professional experience. Dr. Garrison received his graduate training at the University of North Texas where he completed a PhD in Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine. As a graduate of this program, Dr. Garrison is an expert in the biopsychosocial model of health which allows him to approach interventions at both an individual and organizational level with a keen understanding biological, social and psychological mechanisms impacting health and performance. His clinical experience includes work with school districts, pain management and rehabilitation, psychological and neuropsychological assessment, inpatient psychiatric services, medical/surgical and oncology psychological consultation, and outpatient psychotherapy. In higher education Dr. Garrison has served a variety of roles including clinical psychology faculty, department chair, campus president, and chief academic officer. As Dr. Garrison enters his fifth year with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, he is excited and honored to help launch the College of Nursing and Advanced Health Professions with the acquisition of the Dallas Nursing Institute. The new college will house nursing, public health, healthcare management, and other health services programs. Dr. Garrison will lead the college as its inaugural Dean while continuing to provide leadership to the Dallas Campus as its Campus Dean.

Michelle Nadeau
A LITTLE ABOUT MICHELLE
Dr. Michelle Nadeau, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist specializing in Geropsychology for Deer Oaks Behavioral Health, where she oversees the psychological services at multiple facilities. Dr. Nadeau received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, the first back-to-back NCAAF Champions in the playoff era – Go Dawgs! She received graduate training at Texas A&M University, where she earned an MS in Clinical Psychology in 2000. Subsequently, she received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Texas Women’s University in 2010. Dr. Nadeau served as counselor to the Dallas STAR Court (The Strengthening, Transition, and Recovery) that provides intensive supervision through judicial intervention, innovative case management, and treatment to persons deemed high risk/high needs that have also been diagnosed with a co-occurring disorder or substance abuse issue and may have a history of prostitution. Before assuming the role of CCPA Treasurer, Dr. Nadeau held the offices of President-Elect, President, and Past President. Recently, Dr. Nadeau participated in her first Olympic Class triathlon, finishing second in the Women’s Master’s class. Dr. Nadeau is happily married and has recently adopted a sweet 8-year-old special needs Pug named Bella.
